We hope all Room 101 students remembered to share their Father's Day cards with their Dads yesterday and we hope all dads had a great day yesterday! I know Ryan's dad enjoyed his card.
The Delano Family invited Mrs. Kearney and I to stop by their house on Friday as a last day celebration and surprised us with end of the year beach bag and supplies gift! Thank you to the Hillman, Russo, Dimitrov and Delano families for the special end of the year gifts. It was a memorable year! We hope everyone has a wonderful summer. We hope to see you around. We already miss our students! ❤

June 19 - Keep Reading
Your teachers encourage you to read everyday. We know there
are many great stories and authors. Do you have any favorites?
Our librarian, Ms. Small along with Mrs. Parnell and
Mrs. Kearney thought it would be fun this week to highlight
a couple of authors and stories to encourage you to read and
enjoy books.

Pine Glen Song
Today was our last class meeting for PG Room 101. We cannot believe that the year is over. Please remember Mrs. Kearney and I will be accessible through email or snail mail this summer. Just because our formal school year has ended our students all have a piece of our hearts and we will always be here for them (and their families). Thank you for helping us teach your children this year we were definitely a teaching team and we are so thankful for your help and commitment this year.
We ended our meeting trying to learn the Pine Glen School song. First through fifth graders learn this song with Mrs. Agati, Pine Glen's music teacher. During our remote learning Mrs. Agati had the Pine Glen School challenge and teachers all took turns singing it. Please see below for Mrs. Parnell and Mrs. Kearney's attempt at singing. In case your child would like to learn it over the summer the lyrics are below.
Pine Glen School Song
Pine Glen School, Pine Glen School,
Pine Glen is the school that’s cool!
When I learn a lot I also have some fun.
That makes Pine Glen number one!
Pine Glen School, Pine Glen School,
Pine Glen is the school that’s true!
When I walk through the halls I feel so great,
I make sure I’m never late!
Pine Glen School, Pine Glen School,
Pine Glen is the school that’s cool!
When I learn a lot I also have some fun.
That makes Pine Glen number one!

Keep In Touch
Mrs. Parnell and Mrs. Kearney have missed being in the
classroom with kindergarten friends. We love being with
our students. It appears they have missed us too! Max
was excited to get our package in the mail. Lillian also liked
the teacher Bitmojis. Please send us pictures of your child
with these items! We hope they liked them!
We are hoping the flat teachers may serve as a great
motivator to inspire our students to write while away.
Take the Bitmoji teachers on some adventures and record
what you do. Keep a diary of adventures with Mrs. Parnell
and Mrs. Kearney. We would love to read about all the fun
things we are doing with you over the summer! Kindergarten
friends are welcome to share the journal during the summer
or when they return in the fall. In case you want to write your
teachers over the summer our addresses were included in
the letter that hopefully arrived at your house on June 13th.
