All of Pine Glen earned enough Hoot Cards and the reward was a Whole School Dance Party. We had so much fun moving and dancing with all the other kindergartners, siblings and teachers at Pine Glen. We have some students with some awesome dance moves!

We have had our first Lexia Super Stars. Congratulations to Aidan for leveling up on Lexia.
We had many students complete the home September Reading Challenge. If your child completed this, please send it back on Monday.
We also had some students practice their math with JiJi and families shared some photos!

We had a great time with our parent "buddy" readers Friday morning. Thank you to Mrs. Walsh, Mrs. MacKinnon, Mr. Chyn, Mrs. Genrty and Ms. Wilson for joining us! We look forward to reading with parents again in October and November. Come join us.
This week we met up with our 4th grade partners for the first time. We read a Let's Find Out- You Are Special, created an All About Me poster and played a getting to know you game At the end of our time together we danced to Tooty Ta together (check out the videos below) and when the 4th graders left the partners high fived for a great time! We are very excited about this partnership and we look forward to many learning experiences with our partners!
