Unbelievably this is our last week of school! We did a lot of fun activities to end out time together. We had our wild and crazy school spirit day on Monday and Mrs. Fortunado came in to congratulate room 101 on being the ONLY class to have all students achieve 100% on ST Math. Room 101 students are totally AMAZING! Mrs. Fortunado let the students choose something from the JiJi swag bag to congratulate them then she taught us some fun JiJi math games that we played.
On Tuesday the kindergartners wore red for the whole school spirit day. We also went to the library to learn about the Burlington Public Library's Summer Reading Challenge. We hope all our students take time to read this summer.
On Wednesday we wore sports clothes for spirit day. We also played name bingo with our 4th grade partners. The kindergartners liked name bingo so much that we played summer bingo after the 4th graders left. We took our Elmers on a parade around Pine Glen with all our Kindergarten friends then we had freeze pops together and played on the playground.
On Thursday we clapped out the 5th graders as the went to the Moving Up Ceremony. Then we autographed beach balls with our 4th grade partners and had freeze pops with them. Then we watched the 5th graders play a volleyball game against the teachers and then there was a whole school dance party!
