Room 101 has been busy during our last few days, but we made time for a final class photo and trip to the playground!

On Parade

After reading a book recently we made our own Elmer the Elephants and then paraded around the school yesterday!  It was hot, but  fun!

Boston Symbols

To culminate our studies of symbols we worked with Mrs. D'Elia and Mr. Callahan to make this video presentation.  We know you will be very impressed!

Wonderfully Wacky Water Days

The year may be winding down for kindergarten room 101, but the fun is not!  We had a few wonderfully wacky water days last week.  The event was capped off with a water balloon toss on Friday afternoon!  Thank you to our parent helps who had to fill 100 balloons!

Fun, Fun, Fun!

This afternoon we went outside for some fun!  We used Ms. Govoni's bright parachute and then had a relay race with eggs. (plastic of course!)

We need to extend a big thank you to our many volunteers!  This year we had great helpers both in the classroom, preparing materials at home and on field trips.....THANK YOU!

Symbols Studies

As we wrap up our studies of American symbols and our study of Boston, we worked with Mrs. D'Elia and Mr. Callahan on a project this week.  First we revisited the topic and did some research and writing on various symbols.  Then we sketched the symbol on paper and drew it on the Ipad.  Mr. Callahan then helped us with a voice over to our presentation.
