Pine Glen Kindergarten Book Mobile

Today was AMAZING- the PG Kindergarten staff got to see so many of our students today. We are hoping a grant from the BEF will come through, but we couldn't miss the opportunity to put books into the hands of our students to have to read over the summer. The students were so excited to be able to pick out 3 new books and 2 gently used books to have to enjoy over and over again this summer. The Book Mobile warmed our hearts and we will cherish the memories we made today!❤😊

All Are Welcome

With all that is happening in our Country, I am feeling

compelled to share a read aloud that is read in our

class each year.  (My copy is currently in our classroom

so I found this reading online)

All Are Welcome by Alexandra Penfold has been read
each fall since we discovered this welcoming story.
Throughout our school year we strive to build community.
We recognize, value and celebrate all of identities and
differences.

WE will continue to talk about race in kindergarten to
make sure all are welcome and celebrated.  We will
continue to diversify our library collection.

Looking to speak to your children about this topic?
