Planting a Rainbow

This week we started learning about plants and what they need to survive. On Monday, we planted our own rainbow of flower seeds. We are hoping to sow our seeds and have beautiful flowers soon. We will be tracking how our seed development through a science observation journal. We have been watering our seeds, and have them on the windowsill to get sunlight. We are hoping to notice some changes soon! Stay tuned for updates!

Last Week of the "Egg"citing Word Hunt

Thank you to the Andersen, DuBay-Dang, Cunha, Cognini, Neupane, and Burke (who used Mrs. Parnell's Parent's house) families for signing up for and designing word eggs for the hunt. It was great seeing all the different eggs while I was out on the hunt today. I did not get to see any of my kindergarten families though. I did get to say hello to Travis and Joey when they stopped by hunting at my house today. There's still two more days left of the hunt, so if you'd like to participate, tomorrow should be perfect weather to go hunting! Thanks to all the families who emailed photos while on the hunt.
