Hoots & Congratulations!

This week we had MANY students earn Hoot cards. We are proud of our WISE students! We also had a couple students earn Lexia Superstar Certificates. Keep working hard!

Planting a Rainbow

  This week we started learning about plants and what they need to survive. On Monday, we planted our own rainbow of flower seeds. We are hoping to sow our seeds and have beautiful flowers soon. We will be tracking how our seed development through a science observation journal. We have been watering our seeds, and have them on the windowsill to get sunlight. We are hoping to notice some changes soon! Stay tuned for updates!

JiJi, Hoots and Congratulations!

 This week another student entered the 100% club on ST Math. Congratulations to Keyaan! We also had some Hoot card earners, another ST Math percentage certificate, two at home writes and a lot of the month of April at home readers. Congratulations!

Building 2D and 3D shapes

 On Wednesday we worked hard on our Envision Math Topic 13- Shapes. We constructed three dimensional shapes using play doh and toothpicks. On Thursday, we stacked three dimensional shapes, and used the Pattern Blocks to play two games and use shapes to create other shapes. we also used the geobands and recreated our shape designs on the Geoboard app. We had a lot of fun at these math stations.
