This week Room 101 had the Kindergarten Hoot of the Week. Congratulations to Isabel! We also had two students make it to the 100% club in ST Math. Congratulations to Slate and Daniel! We also had many students earn their next percentage in ST Math and we had many students complete their next Quest in Boost. We had Hoot card earners, at home readers and another at home writer! Way to go Room 101!
Our 4th grade partners helped the kindergartners create an Alphabet Board Game the past two Friday mornings. We hope this board game will help reinforce the drill sound cards and first sound fluency. The students have played the game at school and are excited to play the game at home with family. Thank you for your support in playing the game your child made. The game, pieces, dice and directions will be sent home soon!
We had a few students earn Hoot cards this week. We had a lot of students earn their next percentage on ST Math and we had some students complete their next quest in Boost. We also had a lot of at home readers turn in hot chocolate mugs for our January reading challenge. We also had one student write in her winter journal! Nice work Isabel!
Lots of students made it to their next percentage group in ST Math. We had two students complete Quests in Boost and we had two at home readers who turned in their first mug of hot chocolate for our January Reading Challenge. We also had some students work together to build an awesome Lego structure this week. We loved seeing the teamwork!
We welcomed back the students after what seemed like a very short break today. We spent the day reviewing concepts and will start fresh on Monday! Thank you to all the families who shared New Year's Eve photos with us. We looked at them at our Morning Meeting.
We also sang Happy Birthday to Ethan today. Ethan will be turning 6 tomorrow! We hope you have a great day. We also had many students turn in their December at home reading charts. Way to go Room 101!
