We spent some time reviewing the various characteristics of each animal family. Then we sorted some animals. Students are asked why they knew an animal belonged in a given family.
Our trip to the New England Aquarium is next Tuesday and we are looking forward to seeing creatures from nearly all the animal families.
Next we focused on the fish family for some review. We labeled the parts of the fish we know and then wrote a journal entry about them. We are ready for our trip!
