Snowpeople Building!

Last month the kindergartners completed their "how to" instructional writing on How To Build A Snowman. They published their work on Seesaw and then they were posted to our blog. Then a few weeks ago we worked with the 4th graders to create our snowman glyphs then analyze the data (see post fro last week). Today our 4th grade partners viewed the instructional writing on the blog then they met us outside to help the kindergartners build their snowpeople based on their written directions.

Building the snowpeople ended up being more difficult than we thought due to the light and fluffy consistence of the snow. As always, the students were inventive and were still able to create a version of snowpeople. They looked more like snow mounds, but all students had a great time out in the snow.  After we build our snowpeople we spent some time on the playground. We hope to have another day to play in the snow. We will let you know when we are able plan for another day to play in the snow.
