Today we had a festive Valentine's Day. We started our day with morning work and our Learning apps. Then we read our two newest books. Our Winter Poems and Greeting Card books. Then we had our Secret Valentine exchange and we opened our class valentines. Next, we read a couple Valentine books. Then we had our Victorian Luncheon and recess on the field. We wrote about our favorite part of the day, did teen numbers in math and had a write the room for February. We took a break and went to art and made pinch pots with clay. Finally we watched Llama Llama I Heart You, had our snacks and went to the playground. Lots of valentine goodies were sent home today. We hope you have time to look through everything. Thank you to Shanvika and Natalie for the chocolates and Aidan for the rose. It was so thoughtful of all of you to think of us at Valentine's day!
