We continued with our blanket study. So far all students have brought in blankets. We haven't had any quilts or afghans shared. Students are getting better at orally communicating their questions and they are doing a better job at not repeating questions.
Thank you to the parents who joined us this morning for our Parent Readers session. Mrs. Trelegan, Mrs. Angeley, Mr. Congini, Mrs. Lin, Mrs. Bhanushali and Mrs. Costa joined us and listened to the students read for our January Reading Challenge and then the students listened to the parents read.
We had many students earn hoots and certificates this week. We also had many students reading and writing at home this week. Great job Room 101!
Lots to celebrate this week! We celebrated Aahil's birthday. Aahil turned 6 on January 15th. We also sang to Mrs. Kearney. Her birthday was on Saturday.
Congratulations to Colin and Lauriel. Who are our newest members to the 100% club in ST Math. We also had many students earn Superstar certificates in Lexia and accomplishment certificates in Symphony Math.
We had many students write about their highlight of the week or in their Winter Journals and we had many students complete their January reading challenge. Way to go Room 101!
