We are continuing with our blanket, quilt and afghan share. This time continues to be a highlight of our day. We especially love figuring out the area of the blankets. Depending on the size of the blanket students can decide if the students should stand, sit or lay on the blanket. Then the sharer choses a classmate to help figure out the length and width of the blanket using base ten rods. We are also practicing our oral language skills when classmates ask a question to find out information about the blanket.
