Happy Birthday, Hoot of the Week & Congratulations

 We celebrated two birthdays this week. Sophia and Jessica celebrated their birthdays over vacation. Happy 6th birthday to Sophia and Jessica! We also welcomed our 6th and 7th members to the ST Math 100% club. Congratulations to Ansh and Katherine on this achievement. We had the Kindergarten Hoot of the Week! Congratulations to Laura! We also had an at home writer, a Lexia Superstar, an at home reader, and as a class we made it to 80% completion on ST Math. Yea, Room 101!

Sensory Bottles

 

We had a busy week after returning from February vacation. We shared our awesome new sensory bottles that were created at home over vacation. It was nice to hear from the students when they explained the steps that went into making their own sensory bottle. We will keep the bottles in the classroom for a few weeks to enjoy them and then we will send them home.

Yea for the 100th day!

 On Tuesday, February 25th, we celebrated our 100th Day of Kindergarten. We are 100 days smarter! We had a great day. We dressed in our 100 bead necklaces, our 100 day crowns and posed with our 100 stamped mats this morning. We then we had our Morning Meeting and shared our 100 Collection slide show. We wrote the numbers 1-100 and designed our own monsters with 100 things on them! We had our 100 Day Workout, did the 100 second scribble and 100 Day Dance Party. We went to Art and then hunted for 100 chicks after we read The Wolf's Chicken Stew. Then we wrote about our favorite part of the day. It was a FUN and BUSY day in K!
