Egg-citing Spring Sight Word Hunt

Egg-citing Spring Sight Word Hunt

In years past we have had a fun sight word hunt at the end of
our chickhatching unit. (Our chicks last day was Wednesday 4/1.)
For obvious reasons, our plan must change. However, we have a
fun and egg-citing(optional) idea and opportunity for our
kindergarten families.

What - Help hide some sight words on an egg-shaped paper
somewhere the front of your house (can be on a door, window,
or in your yard). Drive or walk through the Pine Glen
Neighborhoods (we will give you the addresses) and
hunt for the words.

Logistics -
1-Sign up between now and April 5
2-Teachers will assign a word(s) on April 6
3-Hide and hang words by April 8 and teachers will
send a list of words for all to hunt for.
4-Hunt for words between April 9 and 12.
5-Send a few photos to your teachers during the
process of egg making, hiding, and hunting and we
will share them with one another.

Questions - Email Mrs. Hoyt - Khoyt@bpsk12.org
Mrs. Parnell - parnell@bpsk12.org or Mrs. Petelle - apetelle@bpsk12.org

Reminder - Sign up here to host a word!

Let’s get excited for this challenge! - Sing along with Jack Hartman
