This week we continued to work on Unit 2 in Fundations, learning capital letter formation, tapping out cvc words and word families. We also started Topic 9 in Math- working with the teen numbers. We completed our Greeting Card book and read it and we worked on our subtraction flash cards. Mrs. Fortunato came in and taught us a strategy game where we tried to complete boxes and see who had the most boxes to win the game. We met with our 4th grade partners twice this week due to our snow day last Friday. We worked on 100th day and Valentine's day items on Tuesday and on Friday we read two Valentine books- Thank you to Autumn and Evan's families for sponsoring the February class books! We delivered our class valentines to be ready for our celebration on Monday.
