Congratulations to our Hoot card earners, Lexia certificate earner and to the whole class for making it to 30% on our ST Math program! JiJi sent us our next postcard. Nice work Room 101.

Highlights from the Week of November 22nd
It was a short week at school this week with only 2 1/2 days! We continued learning about the Continents and Recycling. We had a turkey scavenger hunt with our disguised turkeys. Room 101 students were very creative with this assignment. We LOVED all the disguised turkeys. Then we did a turkey directed draw. Again, we had such creative students! We also started Topic 6 in Math- Addition. We started out Holidays with light book and we made our December calendar pieces. On Tuesday we sang our Thanksgiving songs with the other kindergartners and on Wednesday we cheered on the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades at the Turkey Trot. Thank you to all the Room 101 families who donated food to the PG food drive benefitting Burlington's Food Pantry. We hope all our families have a very happy Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving Songs
On Tuesday, the kindergarten classes at Pine Glen sang four Thanksgiving songs outside together. We had a lot of fun singing with the other kindergartners. We have learned that we have a lot to be thankful for during this Thanksgiving Season. We are thankful that we are all together in a wonderful school with so many friends that we can learn and play with.

November Parent Readers
This afternoon we welcomed back our parent readers! Although it was an extremely windy and cold day our parents did a wonderful job reading to the kindergartners! It appeared that students, parents and teachers all enjoyed this special time! After we read we shared a movement break. We all danced to Dr. Jean's Macarena Months song. We truly appreciate that parents were able to take the time to join us for this special time. Thank you to Mrs. Andersen, Mrs. DuBay- Dang, Mr. Congini and Ms. Kendall for joining us!
