Highlights of the Week of April 11

We already posted about our "egg"citing Monday with our spring egg color exploration and dying and our fun sight word egg hunt on the play ground. On Tuesday, Mrs. Anderson's 2nd grade class came down to see our chicks. After spending Morning Meeting with us and the chicks the second graders read to the kindergartners. We had a lot of fun with the 2nd graders. We hope to see them again soon! We couldn't fit in a tie with our 4th grade partners, but they stopped by to see the chicks when the kindergartners were at Art. All Pine Glen students are LOVING our chicks! Our time with the chicks has flown by. We completed out Chick Observation Journals. You can check out some samples of our writing below. We had some playground fun in the warm temperatures on Wednesday. On Thursday Mrs. Fortunato came in and taught us how to play more math games. The students also did an awesome job creating their chick life cycles. It was another busy short week in Room 101. Thank you to Mrs. Delano for helping us on Thursday morning.

For all our families celebrating Easter, We hope you have a wonderful holiday. We hope all our families have a terrific spring break.
