We continued to welcome parents in our classroom. Thank you to Mr. DuBay-Dang, Ms. Howe and Mrs. Gillis who helped us this week. We made our April calendar pieces and our April home calendars. We started working on our Shape book to go along with our Math Envision topics. We completed our Spring bulletin board and created two different flowers. We had our reading and math groups and learned more about the lifecycle of the chicken. Mrs. Fortunato came in and challenged us with solving math word problems. We also shared our Big Umbrella writing in the author's chair. On Thursday, Ms. Pavlicek came and did the Chick Show for us. See separate post on the show. It was a quick week with a no school day on Wednesday due to Teacher PD. Thank you to Mrs. B. who subbed for Mrs. Parnell on Thursday. (Mrs. Parnell was at a Primary Source conference.)
