Last week the kindergartners and their 4th grade partners worked on constructing shade structures. Our next step was to test our structures. It took about 10 minutes for the control freezepop to completely melt. We then took the freezepops out of the structures and measured how much of the freezepop melted. The students worked on a Summer Let's Find Out as the freezepop melted. After we did our calculations and observations, the kindergartners and 4th graders had an extra recess and enjoyed a freezepop.
