The kindergartners have loved having the chicks in our classroom. We had the chicks out at our Morning Meeting again on Tuesday. Students noticed lots of changes in the chicks including that the chicks were bigger, taller, had big wing feathers, 4 of the chicks started growing tail feathers. They noticed that the chicks were faster, cheeped louder, were more active and a few of them were trying to fly. It was much harder to hold them this week than last! We did our last Chick Journal Entry on Tuesday afternoon around the brooder box. We will miss the chicks!
