We had our last session of Buddy Readers for the school year. Thank you to all the parents who joined us. We had 12 parents in to read with Room 101 kindergartners! Thank you to Mrs. Patlolla, Ms. Aloisi, Mrs. Gupta, Ms. Wilson, Mr. Gentry, Mrs. Coyne, Mrs. Busa, Mrs. Walsh, Mrs. Rohatgi, Mr. Fitzgerald, Mrs. Costa, and Mr. Chyn. The parents read our two May books, Worrysauraus by Rachel Bright and Who Would Win? Tyrannosaurus Rex vs. Velociraptor by Jerry Pallotta to the students. We hope the kindergartners were able to point out the fiction and nonfiction story, prove how they knew this, and be able to tell parents what jobs the author and illustrator of a book has. The May books were sponsored by the Naughton and Fitzgerald families. Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to be a reading buddy this year- our program was very successful.
