Week 4 Highlights

 We had a busy week four in Kindergarten. We had bus safety and school pictures this week along with our number study and our Brown Bear week of activities. We also read, highlighted and found the rhymes in our second book that was sent home - My Mother Goose Book" hopefully your child will read this book to you! We worked on our sight words, rhyming and our Kindergarten News. We also formally started our Fundations program and the students learned about the letter lines, skywriting, sitting like writers, alligator pencil grips and the lowercase letter t.

Remember, if your child is not reaching their 60 minutes here at school, minutes at home in these programs counts toward their total minutes and go toward their 60 minute goal.

Congratulations to all our sticker earners and prize winners this week. The students LOVE their sticker charts and earning prizes.

We have had our first Lexia Super Stars. Congratulations to Paige for leveling up on Lexia. 

We had many students complete the home September Reading Challenge. If your child completed this, please send it back on Monday. Keep working hard Room 101. We are proud of you.
