March 18th- Read Aloud- Leo the Late Bloomer

Today’s read aloud is the book called Leo the Late Bloomer by Robert Kraus. It’s Mrs. Parnell’s turn to share a story today. This book is about a tiger named Leo that took a little longer to master his academics and developmental milestones, but when he was ready he succeeds! Remember to keep trying and never give up!

Listed below is a page taken from the book Harper Collins Treasury Picture Book Classics A Child's First Collection. I like the suggestions on how to enjoy the book further.

Here's an additional site we frequently use at school. Dr. Jean is a wonderful resource. She is going live at 10:00 am this morning to go over resources for parents.

Teachers, here is a simple idea that you can  share with your families. I plan to do FB Live at 10 this morning to demonstrate some of these activities. As crazy as our world seems right now, we need to put our children first.  We need to remember that children want and need the same things they've always wanted.  They want to be loved, they want to feel safe, and they want to play and have fun!
