Room 101 students filled the popcorn jar for a second time. This time the students voted for Discovery Stations and extra recess. I guess they wanted to be able to play more! Last Thursday we were able to open the Discovery Stations and have an extra recess.
All Pine Glen students earned a Fall Festival and spent some time outside on Friday afternoon, November 1st doing fun Fall activities with our 4th grade partners.
This week we had many students earn their next level on ST Math. We had a couple students earn Lexia Superstar certificates and we had many students turn in their October at home reading charts.
Keyann and Zeyann turned 6 on Friday. We were able to sing to Keyann, but Zeyann is still not feeling well and we will sing to him when he returns to school. Happy Birthday!
To ease back into school after an evening of trick or treating and eating too much candy the kindergartners and their 4th grade partners brought books and flashlights to school and we spend some time quietly reading with flashlights. We had so much fun! We also read our Push and Pull and Magnet books so we are ready to explore all the Funomena stations on Monday morning.
