Highlights of the Week of November 20th

We continued learning about the Continents and introduced Recycling. We had a turkey scavenger hunt with our disguised turkeys. Room 101 students were very creative with this assignment. We LOVED all the disguised turkeys. Then we did a turkey directed draw. Again, we had such creative students! We continued working on Topic 5 in Math- Categorizing. We started our Holidays with light book and we made our December calendar pieces. On Tuesday we sang our Thanksgiving songs with the other kindergartners. Thank you to all the Room 101 families who donated food to the PG food drive benefitting Burlington's Food Pantry. We hope all our families have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

Happy Birthday, Hoots & Congratulations

This week was a short week but we still got a lot accomplished. We celebrated two birthdays! Anthony will turn 6 on 11/24 and Addie will turn 6 on 11/25. Happy Birthday Anthony and Addie. Congratulations to our Hoot card earners, at home Readers & Writers! Congratulations to Jorge who won the disguise a turkey contest. Way to go Room 101!

Friendsgiving

We had a great time singing our turkey songs and had a terrific snack with a mix of all kindergartners from all three classes. Check out our singing! We hope you have a great Thanksgiving.

Thanks A Lot
