With only 13 1/2 days left the students in Room 101 continue to work hard. We had many students earn Hoot cards this week. We had an ST math percentage certificate earner, two Lexia Superstars and many at home readers. Yea Room 101!

Butterflies
We have been observing the caterpillars as they ate, grew, formed chrysalises then finally hatch into butterflies. We released our butterflies back into nature for them to continue their life cycle.

Animal Research Videos
Please see the videos below the Kindergartners and their 4th grade Buddies talking about their animal in the video. They had to prove how they knew their animal was living. Nice work on this collaboration everyone! We celebrated the culmination of our project with a party in the bag celebration.
We loved having a special snack time with our 4th grade partners to view our animal videos!

Hoot of the Week, Happy Birthday & Congratulations!
This week Room 101 had the Hoot of the Week. Congratulations to Lorenzo! We also celebrated Laura's birthday. Happy Birthday to Laura who will turn six on May 17th. We also had a couple students earn percentage increases on ST Math and one Lexia Superstar earner. We had many students earn Hoot cards this week too!
CS Lesson, 4th Grade partners & Mrs. Musselman's Cloud Show!
This week Mrs. Ardizzoni came back to Room 101. She read us an Elephant and Piggy book and we talked about Beginning, Middle and End of the story. Then students used the Indy bots and created paths to demonstrate the beginning, middle and end of the story.
We also met with our 4th grade partners. This week we focused on the Let's Find Out about clouds. We have been learning about weather all year. Mr. Musselman came in to do his cloud show on Friday and he was impressed with the students knowledge about clouds and weather.
We learned about clouds with our 4th grade partners then Mr. Musselman came and did the Cloud Show with us. We learned that we can make our ouw clouds by taking water, heat, ice and dirt. See video below.
