Highlights of the Week of May 9th

We started our week with a Clap Out cheering on Pine Glen students who were going to Wilmington to compete in the Special Olympics. Then we continued working on our Animal Research projects with our 4th grade partners.  We completed our last Envision Math Topic on measurement, length, capacity and weight. We have also started our Community Helper unit and the students have been learning about the different community helpers we have in our town. Mrs. Fortunato was back in to do more math enrichment. This week we had some measuring fun. We used unifix cubes and our new Math Stackers to measure how tall the students were. We are continuing to work on our End of the Year book. Today we danced and signed all our class autograph pages and wrote a thank you book to Miss L, who only has two more weeks with us.
