Our school year is quickly coming to an end. With only 16 1/2 days of school left our students are continuing to work hard in school. Congratulations to our newest member of the ST Math 100% club. Congratulations Anthony!
Congratulations to all our students who earned Hoot cards, certificates and awards this week. Congratulations to our at home readers and writer. We are proud of your efforts!
We have been observing the caterpillars as they ate, grew, formed chrysalises then finally hatch into butterflies. We released our butterflies back into nature for them to continue their life cycle.
We met with our 4th grade partners again this week and we recorded our Animal Research projects. We also focused on one animal this week. The penguin was our highlighted animal for this week because we will have JiJi day on Friday! We worked hard and we had a lot of fun! We will meet with them again on Thursday afternoon to create "Party in the Bags" for our Animal Research project viewing party and we played Spring Bingo.
We spent some time this week exploring 2D and 3D shapes. We used the large foam pattern blocks, the small pattern blocks, geoblocks and slot shapes to build 2D and 3D designs. Check out our creations below.
This week we had many students earn Hoot cards for completing their 60 minutes in their learning apps. We had many students earn certificates and we had many at home writers! Way to go Room 101!
We also played a fun game of One Potato today!
