Our 4th grade partners helped the kindergartners create an Alphabet Board Game Monday morning. We hope this board game will help reinforce the drill sound cards and first sound fluency. The students have played the game at school and are excited to play the game at home with family. Thank you for your support in playing the game your child made. The game, pieces, dice and directions will be sent home soon!
Our 4th grade partners came down to our room again this week. They helped us learn more about Veterans and Veterans Day. The partners read a Let's Find Out, completed a comprehension check, watched a video about veterans, did a veterans word search and wrote letters to the veterans. Mrs. Parnell dropped off the letters to the Veterans Office. Thank you to Mark who brought in candy to donate to the Veterans. Thank you to all the veterans who have helped keep America safe. Thank you for your service, we appreciate you!
We had our 3rd Hoot of the Week in Kindergarten. Congratulations to Ansh who was this week Kindergarten Hoot of the Week. Way to go Ansh!
We celebrated two birthdays this week. We celebrated a belated birthday for Zeyann and on Friday, Lorenzo turned 6! Happy Birthday!
The Boston Bruins chose Pine Glen School for a whole school assembly with their BFit program on November 6th. We had a great time with the Bruins. The Bruins organization awarded Pine Glen with a $3,000 check!
