Yellow Day!

Today was yellow day.  It was a very busy day full of new activities and introductions!  We worked on a few projects and really enjoyed the new songs that were introduced.  Tooty Ta is always a big hit.  We moved, sang and danced!

Elbow back!

Thumbs Up!

Thumbs up, elbows back, feet apart and knees together!
There was no direction to smile, laugh and have fun, but as you can see that certainly was happening while we were following the song's directions!

We have been introduced to many people and activities this week.  Ms. Horton will be in helping in all kindergarten classes this year.  She has jumped right in by helping with some of our initial assessments.  Mrs. Berry has been visiting us.  She is our English Language Learners teacher.  Other visitors have included specialists Mrs. Groom and Ms. O'Brien.     Today we even met some of the nurses who are doing health checks!

The Pine Glen community has a great many people who will be helping us learn throughout the school year.  We will be meeting Mrs. Ogren, the school librarian and Mrs. Ardizzoni, the school technology specialist later in the week.

Today we had our height and weight measured and then participated in vision and hearing screenings.

Ms. Horton has already begun working with students helping us with initial assessments.
