Classroom Happenings

This week was another busy week in Room 101.  We finished our Continent book and applied our knowledge of where the continents are on the Earth. The continent book went home this week. We also finished our Greeting Card books. We read them and they are going home today. We also finished Topic 7 in Math. The students are noticing that subtraction is MORE difficult than addition. Some practice over the vacation may be a good idea. Subtraction facts were sent home this week and we had a quiz on our fourth set of sight words. Yesterday the number words were sent home. We started a new book called the Number Rumba. We did addition number sentences with plastic hearts. We delivered our class valentines and worked on ST Math.
