Today we met our 4th grade partners for the first time. They read our September class book sponsored by the DuBay-Dang family. The book is called Mango, Abuela and Me. The 4th graders then helped the kindergartners find the Spanish and English words in the book. Next all students did a color by number picture of Mango the parrot. After the reading activities the partners played a dice game to learn more about each other. When we returned to our classroom we watched, listened and followed along in our books to Mango, Abuela and Me read aloud.
