This week we continued learning more Nursery Rhymes and in skills we are now experts at making horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines. We have practiced making circles, squares and triangles too. We have been reading pictures from left to right and top to bottom to prepare us to read and we have been segmenting sentences into how many words are in a sentence. Students have been doing a terrific job with our new CKLA curriculum.
We also worked on our October calendars and calendar pieces. We made some paper bag ghosts that are hanging from our lights. We are working on numbers 0-5 and a Halloween counting book. We are very busy in room 101.
