Popcorn Jar Reward Day- Blankets and Partiots!

On Friday we had our Popcorn Jar Reward Day. We started our day being word detectives with our last edition of Quilt News. Then we made our Patriots headbands. Next we went upstairs to our 4th grade partners room. We read books under our blankets on a cold morning. Then Jaimee, a Senior at Burlington High School and a former student of Mrs. Parnell and Mrs Visocchi came down from the high school and read a book about Groundhog Day. Next we went back to our classroom and made our Superbowl predictions. All students in Room 101 want the Patriots to WIN! Our next stop was the library then lunch, gym time and back to the classroom to complete our Volcano in my mouth journal entry to prepare us for part 2 of Ms. Kendall's lesson. After the lesson we ended our day with practicing our victory dance on GoNoodle. We have some expert dancers in Room 101. Mrs. Kearney did post a video on Instagram highlighting some of these victory dances. We are all set to dance with the Patriots after they score touchdowns at the big game! (fingers crossed that there will be a lot of victory dancing!)
