The students in Room 101 are LOVING our Blanket unit! After a round of 20 questions
we have a big reveal and our friends shows us how they snuggle in the blanket. The
highlight for many of us is measuring. We measure the length and width and area.
We love this part! We are learning terminology, practicing measuring, becoming fluent
in counting and more! Using non-conventional means for measuring is interesting.
Each day we measure the area of the blankets with kindergarten bodies!
We also finished our collaborative paper quilts. They came out beautiful!
The quilts will be displayed in the hallway outside of our classroom for a few weeks then they
will be sent home.
