It was another busy short week in Room 101. We completed out teen number book and started a few new books - a leprechaun book, the Number Rumba book, and our numeral words book to reinforce our last set of sight words. We formally introduced the digraphs- sh, ch, wh, th and ck. Ms. Kendall came in to do a lesson with the students about when it is the correct time to tell an adult about a problem, and try not to tattle tale. We also had another 1st grader turn in 50 Dojo points to read to us. We welcomed Caroline a Room 101 grad to our classroom Friday morning.
