On Monday we began a unit on Community Helpers. Burlington firefighter Walthall came to visit us and share about his job. He showed us all the things he must do to prepare himself to fight a fire. We learned about his job. Firefighters help people when there is fire, danger or a medical emergency.

Students were presented with fire hats, badges, coloring books and crayons.
