Halloween & The Day After...

On Halloween we wore the bat hats and candy corn necklaces that we made. Don't we look great!

We played a couple math games. Mrs. Kearney played the pumpkins on the gate game.

Mrs. Parnell played the 1st, 2nd, 3rd game. We used mini skull and black cat erasers to play this game. The students brought these games home. I hope you are able to play this game at home! Feel free to make up your won problems.

We took many group pictures wearing our hats and necklaces.

We made some silly faces too!

The students wrote in their journals about what Mrs. Kearney and Mrs. Parnell should be for Halloween. The students had great ideas of what we should be!

On Tuesday, the day after Halloween, we enjoyed bringing our flashlights in and reading with them! Mrs. Visocchi's 4th grade ELA class came down to read with us. All the kindergartners and 4th graders did an AWESOME job. We are looking forward to doing more reading and other activities with our 4th grade partners.

At the end of of the day we had an Afternoon Meeting. The students shared a photo them wearing their Halloween costume. We ended our day by seeing how much candy the students got Trick-or-Treating. We were amazed at how much candy some of our students got. We hope they don't plan on eating it all. We talked about possibly donating some candy to the troops overseas. I know that Get In Shape for Women in Burlington is collecting candy through November 19th to send overseas. I can deliver the candy there if anyone wants to donate.
