How to make an Afghan.

We were lucky to have Mrs. O'Dowd, Matthew's mom come in to talk to us about she makes afghans. She was able to demonstrate to us how she makes them and the tools she uses. She showed us many different sized hooks and she told us that the hook size she uses on each afghan depends on how thick or thin the yarn is. Thank you Mrs. O'Dowd for sharing your hobby with us. It was a perfect tie into our Blamket, Quilts and Afghan Unit.
