Flashlight Reading!

Today we took a little extra time to recover from late night trick-or-treating and we read with our 4th grade partners in the dark with flashlights! It was a nice way to ease back into the school day. All the 4th graders did an excellent job reading the books the kindergartners picked out and the kindergartners had to use the flashlight to illuminate the words so they could be read! All the teachers could hear was soft reading by the 4th graders. The kindergartners did an awesome job listening and projecting the flashlights. I think this will be something everyone will want to do again!
