Highlights from Week of November 7th-9th

We had a short 3 day week this week. We still managed to get a lot accomplished. We have been working on our vegetable book and we will be reading this book with our NEW high school partners next Friday, November 16th. Please look through your child's communication folder on TUESDAY- important information will be sent home about this special collaboration. 

We have been working on our Thanks A Lot book and Friday morning we went to Ms. Tigges' Room, 109 to learn the sign language for this special song. Mrs. Kearney posted a couple videos on Instagram of us learning the sign language for the song. We also had our Topic 2 test in our EnVision math program and we completed the story opener for Topic 3. We donated candy to the troops, we learned about Veterans Day and sent Thank You cards to the troops to accompany the candy donation. We also went to the library and used the Maker Space for the first time this year. Ms. Kendall, PG's guidance counselor came in and did a lesson on how to be a good friend and how to ask a friend to play.
