Monday afternoon we went on our Nature Walk with Ms. P. from the Burlington Science Center. We went hunting for living and non living items on our walk. We all had a great time seeing, touching and exploring in nature. Ask your student what they found on the walk that was living and non living and how they know! We saw so many amazing things! We found a salamander, an earthworm, and a couple spiders. We also found grass, trees, ferns, wintergreen mint and moss. (All these things are living). See if your kindergartner can name some things we found that were non living.
