Weather Wednesday!

One of our science units in kindergarten is the weather. We have been tracking the weather every day and trying to guess how warm it is outside when we are at recess on the big thermometer. We use a weather app on the phone to see what the temperature actually is and then we add a link to our chain to correlate to the color on the thermometer depending on how warm or cold it is different colors are used. The weather links are a concrete reminder of the temperature all year long and we can use it to track patters throughout the year. On Wednesdays the students will be tracking the weather in their own book! This will be a good keepsake for the students- especially if any students are thinking they may want to be a meteorologist!
