Halloween Fun with 4th Grade

Today we celebrated Halloween early. We went to Ms. P's Owl Show. Then we went back to our classroom, put on our bat hats and candy corn necklaces and read the Scary Book and the Halloween Counting book to our 4th grade partners. Next we played two math games using paper ghosts and Halloween themed erasers. The ghost game was sent home so the students can play the game again. Next we took a break and all used our spider rings to sing and act out Raffi's song There's a Spider on the Floor. Lastly we had time to squeeze in one round of Halloween Bingo. We had a great time with our partners. We then went to lunch and recess and then back to our classroom. We shared notes from home contained in our "Party in the Bags" bags. The we all enjoyed the Magic School Bus Goes Batty video and ate our snacks from home. After the video we had time to write about the Owl Show for our memory books and go home. We had a busy but FUN day!
