Jack-o-lantern Time!

Last week we learned about pumpkin parts and we did a cross section of the pumpkin. On Thursday, the students voted for how Mr. Parnell should carve the jack-o-lantern face for our classroom pumpkin. Mr. Parnell's schedule did not allow for him to actually come into our classroom this year but he did tackle this task at our house over the weekend. The students chose creative shapes for Mr. Parnell to crave, but the final product came out great.
