Do you like puppies? Have fun listening to our own Julie Gosseli
read the story Pigeon Wants A Puppy by Mo Willems. In this story,
the character of Pigeon desperately wants a puppy, but as you will see,
he has no idea how to properly take care of one.
Listen to find out what happens once all his dreams come true
Pigeon thought he had to “water” a puppy and other silly ideas.
He sure is funny! Lots of people are getting new pets while we
are all home. How do you take good care of a puppy or other pet?
What supplies do you need? What do you need to do for the puppy?
Make a list of all the supplies you would need and the responsibilities
you would have when owning a puppy or pet. Fold a piece of paper in
half down the middle and write supplies on one side and responsibilities
on the other. Fill in your chart.
If you could have any pet you wanted, what would it be? Draw a
picture of it and give it a name. Write a sentence about it. Put it
on Seesaw so we can see it.
Do you like to add numbers?
Pick a puppy craft and try it out! You can even make a puppy out
of a balloon. Be sure to share your creations with us.
