Pine Glen Book Mobile
June 2nd and 3rd
We know students miss friends and school. Students may need books to take them on their own adventures! Reading is a stress reliever for many and enables us to meet
new friends, and develop a strong character! We know our kindergartners love to read
and we love helping them read! We want all students to have books to read and enjoy
for the coming weeks and even through the summer. The book mobile (more like a book
parade) will allow the kindergarten team to deliver books from the back of our trunks!
Kindergarten teachers will be arriving at your house with a carload full of books! Thank
you to the K team and friends for purchasing some new books and sharing some gently
used books as well as orchestrating this event!
Students may select books to keep adventures going while we are apart. If you would
like to keep them, fine. If you would like to return them to kindergarten teachers when
we return to school in the fall, great! We would love an opportunity to see you!
Note: Health and safety are a priority so there will be a couple of rules.
1- Students must step back and wait while the teacher opens the trunk and sets up.
2 - Students must use the provided hand sanitizer before touching the books.
It will be provided in the back of the vehicle.
3 - We will connect with a wave and a big smile but will maintain a safe distance
(6 foot) at all times.
4 - Students may select a few books.
5 - When we return to school in the fall students may opt to return books to the
kindergarten classrooms or may keep them for future enjoyment
